birthday. the birthday. mmmm *grateful* they say diamonds are a girls best friend, but so is 802.11 on a new toshiba, with tiffany whispering in your ear while sipping voss. i had a lovely day... breakfast with p, a swim in the ocean, and an excellent dinner downtown. the weekend followed with family and love and massages at the spa. a certain calm has come over me this week. i think i was a little freaked about the birthday moment and now that it has passed, i feel better. i have been listening to the new good life album, lovers need lawyers. its one of those albums that you don't even really hear the first 3 times listening to it. but something happens all of the sudden and you are singing all of the lyrics at the top of your lungs until your throat hurts. i saw them last week with a lovely pair of birthday tickets to the troubadour... i wish i had loved the album then as much as i do now. i am looking forward to hearing the new pinback which is happily on its way to me in the mail. thank you for a wonderful birthday.
