I think i feel a bit guilty. I did not do one productive thing this entire long weekend. however, I feel that this weekend allowed for the catching up on movies. Yes, that's right. I just watched, all weekend long. i saw a few movies this weekend. mostly from my couch. relaxing. the movies ranged from a USA original, "Labor of Love," which was hysterical to make commentary to with my roommate... then to "Charlies Angels," (yuck, didn't like this one, but cute to look at), and "Better off Dead." (a good movie, anytime, anyplace.) "Traffic" was in there as well as "Run Lola Run," two movies that i had missed while everyone else, including their mother had seen them. There was also "Snatch," which i involuntarily fell asleep to half way through.
but the winner was donnie darko. i had planned since thanksgiving day to catch this film. and everyday, i plotted out a matinee or a late night time. but things, like they always tend to do, came up, and i thought that i would not get to see it. Tonight, we attempted at 7 to drive accross town, but hence, the hollywood parade shut down most major avenues, this includes the entire city. we didn't make it. but, thankfully, we attempted again for the 950 showing. we got there, and even got a spot on P1, a rarity for sure. anyhow, i liked the film, a lot.
