im back. and boy, i tell you. i am certainly in a good space.

as for a little recap, let me explain... tonga is one of the most beautiful tropical places on the earth. totally untamed, it is mother nature's little carved out spot of paradise. islands trickeled throughout the south pacific, clear blue water, sounds of only the waves, the wind and the birds... the feeling your body has while just walking (or in my case laying on a sail boat) in the moist air, sitting in the glowing sun, wind gently blowing over your face... you close your eyes and think to yourself, "this is so good," and you smile and think of the people you love, and maybe even the meaning of your life, if you really get into it... but it is definitely a moment thing... you know what i mean? like a really cherishable, memorable (for the rest of your life) moment.

the fun and laughter never ceased, even in times where we thought our lives were in danger if the boat actually did sink in those 20 knot winds and 12 foot swells, we were worried, but not for too long... we had a radio afterall.

and the rum was good. it always tastes better in the islands, whichever group you are visiting. and rum always goes well with anything, and you rarely know how much you have drunk until you fall over in the dinghy, and pry yourself from the edge, trying not to fall into the warm water late at night. bruises abound while sailing.

overall: blissful. reviving. exciting. adventurous. relaxing. time for the mind and body to take a break from routines, that like anything you have too much of, can be harmful. im back.
