couples dancing in the kitchen. what a romantic vision. sometimes i see couples in the kitchen, laughing and chirping away about how things in the dinner department are progressing.tonight i looked over, and saw them both tending to one item or the next, moving as a team, separate but together. and though they didn't literally dance, their movements flowed around one another. and i thought to myself as my first instinct; i will never have that.
now, of course thats the negative side of my thinking process, and maybe just a reflection of single life in denial of accepting anything more substantial than a dinner and a few drinks, if that. sometimes, things look better on the other side of the fence, but i am chalking that up to be a result of romantic nostalgia. again, a mind set imposed by single life. but i think until you are there, maybe you aren't drawn to the prospect of dancing in the kitchen, maybe you don't want to test the spaghetti. maybe, just observing it is enough to satisfy the curiosity.
