i could cry.i don't even want to write it down, it will seem that much more real. ahh, we had plans! my company party at the house of blues to see the psychedelic furs with echo and the bunnymen... then a few parties afterwards...there were actually 4 events!
1. company holiday party: start time: 6:00pm
i wore the dress; it was lovely.
in a matter of less than 3 hours and an open bar with a bartender who was out to KILL me, i managed to get to the point of no return before 845 pm. yes, this was before the bands came on. go ahead, laugh, its fine. i am trying to. it wasn't messy, i didn't embarrass myself in front of all my coworkers, i didn't yell, or fall down or any of that. my body just gave me the messages: 'Karen-- you need to go home and lay down, immediately.'
and that is exactly what i did. i went to sleep at about 9:07 pm. uh. it was that bartender. i am going to be very careful around an open bar in the future. no cocktails.
