this week a 24 year old girl jumped off the roof of my work building. she had apparently called her therapist while contemplating the edge. her therapist alerted the local authorities who cordoned off the street. i guess nothing could be said to help her, because she lept from the 24th floor to her death in the middle of ventura blvd, at 9pm on wednesday, April 16th, 2003. there is a stain in the street and some dying tulips on the sidewalk.
