ok. i feel pretty good. i now have internet access, at my home. though it is through AOL, i am content that i can at least dial-up. things weren't looking too good there for a moment my puter was defaulting to a version of AOL 3.0 which mysteriously got on this machine prior to me owning it... but who really wants to hear about AOL? not me.

so, a few things have been going on. i got a promotion at work and instead of being with my geeky tech department, i have decided to go to the dark side. the sales team thought i could do really well on their side... so i took it... i mean, im not all that technical to begin with... though, i saw a sign of how non-technical the sales people are:

sales person A has been trotting to the tech printer to pick up his documents for two weeks now, and i asked him yesterday why he was coming all the way over to our side to get his docs... he replied, "well, someone switched my default printer when ours went down, and i don't know how to switch it back." uh... i walked over to his machine and set him up. heh.

i have also been working on a short story. though i do not claim any creative writing capabilites...i am trying my hand at it. i will post it somewhere when its done.

Happy 4-20!
