yay for me!most of the shopping is done, thank the internet! what a relief.
it rained today. it was so nice to look out the window, and see big clouds, rain pouring, traffic all over the place. it is cold too. winter-- it has arrived. i feel like watching movies and rolling around in bed.
so. i got in a bit of a discussion with my mom last night. i won't go into to depth, but i said to her, "but mom, aren't there worse things to be than an old maid?" i mean, people used to look down on women who weren't married and started a family by their early to mid twenties. do they still? I think she is concerned that i don't have concrete plans to marry or to have children. i feel fine about it. but what is this pressure about? hmm. i guess the bottom line is that moms want grandchilden.
