finally.i have got my computer at home up and running. i like XP. i also like honey nut cheerios. i don't like that i have bad posture, especially while sitting in front of this screen. i also don't like when i have sat in front of the screen for so long that things begin to flash, or move slightly without me touching anything.
my coworker told me today, that if she was carjacked to be kidnapped like the two girls today--- she would rather be shot dead at that moment than be killed later in the kidnapping or be completely traumatized for the rest of her life. she looked at me, and said, "don't you think?"-- mm, i said, "no. look at these two girls, they made it out alive and the kidnapper/ rapist/ gross/ sick individual was shot dead. so... you never know, right?"
"yeah, you never know."
