the most beautiful people

people just become a little jaded over time. i asked my new coworker how old he was, and he said, "uh, im like a woman like that... i mean, uh, no offense, i don't like to say.."

oh god, my eyes rolled...

the wanting to be young seems appealing and also ridiculous. "being young's romantic...the tourists just smile and say cheese..." when you are young, you lack a certain wisdom that can only be achieved through life experience. some of this experience, i think, leaves its scars. but when you are young you seem to have an innocence, beauty and naivete that is simply attractive on the most basic level.

once old, whenever that is... i am not sure... it is a rather dynamic and relative notion... anyhow, once old, i think that certain newness about life dissipates and people tend to know the outcomes, and become generally cynical. they find young comments not cute, but annoying. they find that those with less life experience have less to offer. they could be right... i do not know, and i am not making the call here.

ones with young minds in old bodies are by far the best people. they find character in their wrinkles and boast simple pleasures. they have lived life, and continue to have a desire to see things as new and beautiful. they tend not to get caught up in the pitfalls that so often bring a majority of people down.

i guess thats all.
