now: i know this to be a fact: it is illegal to drive with headphones on. three of my friends have told me this.it would be an entertaining entry if i told you as i was leaving the office, (it is saturday afternoon, right?)... anyway, it would be comedic if i told you that i got pulled over for wearing headphones while driving, and not only did i get a ticket, but 5 minutes after being scolded for driving deaf, my power steering pump decides its its time. It ran out of fluid, and my car blew up, on the 134 west freeway. hmmm, that would be good, but only for storytelling purposes. fortunately, it never happened...
no. instead, i got home, took out the paints and had black and white fun on a previously blank canvas. Then i decided to reinvent a painting i did about 5 years ago. i painted over a remnant of a time in my life. I realized afterwards, it has the same theme, but it is a completely different painting.
the air smelled like autumn this evening. :)
