all i want to do recently is write lists. lists of things to do, to get, to look at, to say, to buy...went to the watergrill last night. i tried oysters for the first time, and had icelandic char. the cocktails were weak and the appetizers overpriced, but it was nice to get all gussied up, new black strappy shoes and all... a good evening out with friends celebrating a birthday.the apartment is shaping up. i threw out about 8 boxes today and had the contractor over to take measurements for the closet. the replacement closet for the one that was stolen my first weekend moving in, is rather weak. i mean, i am a closet person. linens, clothing, snowboard gear, old ceramics and photo albums, shoes, and hand bags, sweaters and knick knacks from years past. the new structure in the closet will be brilliant and be able to hold all of that. my dilemma-- do i ask the building owners first? or just make the change and not tell them? i guess if i tell them, they could say no, and if i don't they could find out and get angry.... the problems with month to month occupancy. hmmmm. its all overcast today, probably about 58 or so degrees. just lovely.
