caught in the banter of office chatter -- boys all around with witty comments putting each other down while lifting themselves up. they all laughed and clamored saying, "oh she has it so good! she pays all the bills and he pays the mortgage..." i said-- "but she gets nothing! his name is on the mortgage- he will get all of the upside when it is time to move on because- they are not married!" and chirper from the back room yelled out, 'but, what is better? some cracker box for a thou a month or living in the big house and just paying the bills? she's got it gooooood!'-
for some reason, this did not sit well with me. i have the small one beddie for a thou a month, and do not have the luxury or curse of dating Mr. Richie Cheater Rich and living high on the hill at the beach, 'only paying bills.'
-----> i picked up an uncapped razor pen, turned and thrust it right at chirper�s head. he dodged it, and it stuck into the wall - somewhat like a knife on the spinning wheel at the circus. giggling ensued and reality struck right after. i actually could have taken out an eye. it was so unlike me to have an outburst like that. was i jealous? insulted? angry? or just needed to vent the frustration that was building up from the tool i was using to upload creative which was continually fritzing on cookie caching and showing 'PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED?" or maybe i had some built up aggression hiding out from the other day. words. love and lass and lad and lady friend. boys and toys and brothas, bangin� up, throwing daggers before staggering home after beachy bars with pinky vodka 'sink the pink' martinis and chocolate confections, tall texas boys teetering over Los Angeles PR princesses, betting 5 dollar bets on the best game of all, "When Will He Call?" finally at home, i check the text message queue to find i continue to deny the one and leave doors open to the lost.
