a parking ticket

a parking ticket received while spending the night at your significant others' place is the first sign of your relationship not working. its symbolism states some of the following scenarios:

1)you were too lazy or too intoxicated to park further away and thought you would be up before the street cleaner would come and if not, you embrace the attitude of "eff it, its only a ticket."
-It is inevitable that you will oversleep or some morning shower scene will develop- not to mention your attitude of "eff it," will come back to haunt you, and lo and behold... the ticket awaits.

2)you were so excited to see them, you didn't see the "no parking" sign or the red or the blue curb you just parked in.
- this is just bad. you are so enamored that you forget reality so you can go rushing in to see the one person who will wind up breaking your heart (cause when you are so obsessed with someone, you know it can never work out). and lo and behold, the ticket awaits.

3)you thought you would be right back out to go back home for the night with plans of spending some well deserved time alone (let's face it, you work a lot and need time to yourself- this is a cardinal rule) and you, for sure, have no intentions of sleeping over.
-you never make it back outside, once you're in, you're in, not to mention it's warm, there is a good movie lined up with sex to follow, while the car is cold outside. but here is your downfall, you didn't follow your plans to take time for yourself. you eventually resent this person for all the tickets that have piled up and the fact you have not taken any time for yourself- you feel trapped and start craving freedom. lo and behold, the ticket awaits.

4)you park far enough away not to get a ticket
-you mumble to yourself on the walk to the place, "damnit. this sucks." you wind up walking into the spot with a fake smile and loose kiss wishing you really thought this was all worth it especially after all the parking tickets- which are now delinquent cause you lost two of them and they have gone from 32 dollars to 256 dollars and there is possibly a warrant out for your arrest. you get back to your car in the morning, and lo and behold there is a boot on your car. this will just escalate into losing a day of work, getting fired, having no money, losing your apartment and having to move back in with your parents. and do you think that significant other will be around to hold your hand through it all?

you tell me.
