what would you like to touch upon this evening? hmm. not too sure myself, but i had to move on from the new department entry.today i went shopping for the future with my sister and her husband:
finding a cute little house in white suburbia. i navigated from the back seat of the car, map in hand, house to house. they are preparing to flee the city for greener landscapes.
map reading: this is one of those things that you are either good at or not. i, thankfully, have excellent map reading abilities (this makes up for what i lack in mathematic skills.) i think it is probably a hard thing to learn how to do if you don't have a good sense of direction to begin with. the thing about my map reading skills in particular, today, is that i think i allowed for the complete avoidance of any possible conflicts between the cute married couple. He is the driver, she the passenger, but she is horrible at reading maps. it could have been a fairly disastrous situation. all in all we had fun, weeded out the real big fixer uppers. we giggled and tried to stay focused on the mission.
its time to get ready to go out.
