links and links

everything on the internet is a link to another source. i guess like those "choose your own adventure" books. its frustrating sometimes, othertimes, quite helpful. But i guess i find my frustration is how we are forced to go elsewhere, when we are right where we want to be. For example, its all turned into a sentence on a page with a hyperlinked word. (now i know i am being really simple here, and you can say at anytime, duh, that is the internet you loser, how could you have missed it all this time?) Like, "Welcome! You have found my page... I want to tell you something, but Here this can show you and explain more in depth of what i really want to convey at this moment, so stop what you are reading right now, and go see if this other site is up so you can read all that, then, come back here and i will continue with the next sentence with another work bolded or underlined or blue to take you away again. Just think for one second about that. Has communication become just a link to somewhere else? Has it always been this way?

I guess the internet is a test of your loyality to one site. Its a test to see if you keep coming back to be routed other places, and opened up to an endless array of writers, people, up to date information, and anything, and anything else you can think of. loops and loops of links, driving you around until your ass is sore and you have to get up to move your blood.
