finally, a taste of fall has come upon southern california, it must have been a whole 15 degrees cooler than earlier last week. i welcome and cheer on this slight chill in the air. i desire it. the heat is mostly unbearable to me and the prospect of taking out warm winter sweaters and coats is tantalizing! lets hear it for the long sleeves and hoodies! yay! it gets dark so early now. this happens every year, and signifies the big holiday of the month... halloween.
the stores are all stocked up. plastic pumpkins at the front door, waiting to have the kids dressed up in imaginary character for the day, pluck one or two of their favorite choice. i personally loved the smarties, they resembled pills, something glamorous... i once got a pack of cigarette gum... do they still make that? ahh, the evils of hallows eve.
i ate a pumpkin shaped reese's peanut butter cup today. a certain smile came to my face... delight, i think it was. try one, the texture is much different from a regular cup.
