i am in such a writer mode today. there must be a lot unraveling from the art project, visitor, work, music, workouts.
i invented a neat little new routine on the treadmill. 60 minutes of lovely challenging, calculated cardio. This is it: you jump on the treadmill, and start at a 3.5 mph walk at 2% grade for 3 minutes- then for 2 minutes, sprint at 7.5 mph. For the next 3 minutes walk again at 3.5, increase the grade to 4% and then sprint at 7mph, then increase the grade up to 6% and do the sprint at 6mph, increase to 8% and sprint at 5mph, increase to 10% and sprint at 4.5 increase to 12% and stay there at 4mph for 5 minutes... then do the reverse back down to 2%. You will go a little over 4 miles with a 5 minute cool down-- a total of 60 minutes. It rules.
